How to connect a WS2805 strip to an Athom Controller (ESP8266))

I have a 24V WS2805 LED strip. The LED strip has 6 wires. How do I connect the wires to my Athom “WLED RGBCCT Analog and Digital Light Strip Controller”? The WS2805 has connections for +24V, DIN, BIN, GND, and then a red and a white wire for the white LEDs. The Athom controller has connections labeled GND, DAT, CW, WW, B, G, R, and VCC.

MS Copilot told me this:
+24V: Connect the +24V cable to the VCC terminal on the controller.

GND: Connect the GND cable to the GND terminal on the controller.

DIN: Connect the DIN cable to the CW terminal on the controller.

BIN: Connect the BIN cable to the WW terminal on the controller.

Red and White: These two cables are for the white LEDs (CCT channels). Connect the red cable to the R terminal and the white cable to the B terminal on the controller.

Is this correct?

BIN at the start of the strip should be connected to GND.
That’s the backup data line.

The Red and White wires are Analog drive inputs and need some power handling capability in the controller. Looks like the Athom has a WW (guessing that’s Analog) and the R,G,B pins are likely analog.

I would connect White to WW and Red to R.
What you actually get for CCT control in WLED will be highly dependent on the version of software loaded.

You’ll have to do some searching for a version that integrates the CCT component of the strip.
