I am setting up a D1 Mini with SR WLED, and would like to use the built in I2S port for a MEMS mic, but based on the MoonModules page below, it says that only ESP32 can be used for such a task. I was wondering why that is so. Is it because of the single core processor?
Should I just forget it and not bother? and instead use regular old MAX4466’s?
