I need to make a 3600 LED project. which I require to be audio-rhythmic and controllable through remote control. My question is how do I connect both devices to the esp32?
Sure you can use a mic ( max4466 will give you headache with wled ) and also IR receiver .

SM16703P is ws2811 compatible and others have reported it will work with wled so go ahead
ok and regarding the microphone and the IR receiver. Should I place the connection of both at 3V of the esp32? or is external power supplied?
You can power it directly from it, but I believe there is just one 3.3V Pin?
If those are 24v strips, 6 pixels will be tied to 1 address, meaning every 6 will act as 1 pixel and will all be the same color. Not sure what kind of Fx you are looking for but that will be pretty long bands of 1 color, depending on what you are looking to do.
