Kodi control LEDs on play/pause/stop

Hi all,

I have setup a WLED lamp (its like a Nanoleaf) which is working great. Id like to use a new WLED setupwith my Kodi box to control turning the LEDs on and off and dimming them depending on the state of playback.

Been trying to search but all I seem to be able to find is about using Hyperion to make ambilight style systems. I just want to have some accent lighting controlled depending on what the playback status is. Doss anyone know of a plugin that would does something like that?

If you can execute a curl command under Kodi control, you can turn WLED on/off.
If you have MQTT and under Kodi control, you can turn WLED on/off.
If you have home assistant running on the Kodi box, and Kodi can turn things on/off in HA, you can turn WLED on/off.

Before I continue, do any of those apply?
