I had just set up my digi quad with QuinLED-ESP32 and Ethernet Add-on Board. I had added it to my network had my lights working. Went into the WLED app and updated then I lost all functions. No lights, shows my devices as off line despite being wired to my router.
I tried to find the WLED-AP in my connections and it’s not showing anymore, assuming because i connected it to me network(starlink), tried to pull up using ip, 4.3.2.1, (get nothing) in order to get into the interface again with no success.
Am I putting firmware on the Digiquad or putting WLED back onto the ESP32? Like I said after connecting to WLED and updating I list ability to use WLED to turn on or control my lights.
The DigQuad and Esp32 are the same thing as far as firmware is concerned. The DigQuad has an Esp32 and the Esp32 is what gets the firmware put on it.
If you installed a regular version of WLED you likely lost your GPIO settings. So you either need to re-enter them or install firmware from Quindor that has already been customized for his controllers. Releases · intermittech/QuinLED-Firmware · GitHub
I’m not able to get WLED to install on the ESP32. I’ve held the boot button for different increments of time qhen selecting install and it does not get past the preparing to install. I beyomd frustrated and confused at this point at what appears to be a simple plug and flash process however I can’t get it to work.
So to clearify, I have removed it. It jas been removed feom tje digiquad from tje start of this process. I watched and followed 3 different YouTube videos abs still can’t get it working. This esp32 has only 1 button (boot) on the board and I did all the steps the videos suggested however I’m still stuck.
I know now not to connect to network until I get another router and put starlink in bypass mode so I have a static IP, I just need to be able to access the lights with the esp32 and can’t as it shows offline
Yeah easiest would be troubleshooting on the Intermit.tech Discord server if you are able to join there. It’s possible the ESP32 board maybe died but no worries then we just replace it since it sounds like it was still quite new!
