Hello everyone,
I have a wled that I’d like to install mod. Must I download the source for wled, modify it, compile and then flash my nodemcu with it or is there a way to install it from wifi? My nodemcu is not in the best place to flash it and I though it was something I could just upload to it and enable it in the menu afterward.

If nothing is fit your project than you have to download source code and compile yourself. If you have installed firmware once after compiled bin file can be uploaded OTA and you don’t have to connect USB cable.
