Please help me connect my 2812b strip to My domestic automation board

Hi I have the domestic automation vegas lights board and I am trying to connect it to my ws2812b led

I have 12v power to the led strip, 5v power to the board. with the ground common and data from the vegas lights board lever connector run to the vegas lights board.

Please help

ask the manufacturer?
also, get your facts stright please. either you have WS2812 and they are dead now as those are 5V only, or you mixed stuff up.
