I got a really cheap LED lamp with two LED strips that can show cold white, white and warm white, and it is operated with a 4 button switch. I was thinking of replacing these strips with some WLED compatible strips to make the lamp more interesting.
The switch the lamp comes with is a pretty standard 4 button switch that I have seen on several other LED lamps as well:
I was wondering if anyone has succeeded in reusing this switch in any way with WLED? I was hoping to reuse the cord with the switch, and let the On/Off be …well… On/Off, and the other three function as more light, change light pattern and less light seen from the top and downwards in the picture.
The switch does all the current magic internally as far as I can see, as there are only three wires coming out of it: Red, white and black.
I suspect that this won’t work with WLED, but I wanted to ask if anyone has succeeded in using the switch with WLED.
