Hello everyone
I’m new with wled I think it’s great
I have several panels (4) of 8x32
I manage to scroll a text on a single panel, but never on 2 or more.
do you have to meter the number of leds in for all the panels normally 1 panel 8x32=256 so 4x256 1024
But I can’t meter 1024
It’s in 2d configuration that I don’t know what to enter as a value (I may have tried everything)
Could you help me with the configuration on several panels.
On the other hand I use a d1 mini v3 maybe it’s better an esp32?
Please help me
sorry for the translation i am french
That would really depend on how did you wire the matrix so i assume you are doing just 32x32 , show your fixture otherwise . so there are multiple way to setup that , the easy way that could work is just add one 32x32
Or four 8x32 so something like that
The best one to setup i think would be tinkered from your side though
Thanks for your help
But still it doesn’t work
I give you the photos of my led panels
I would like to have at least 2 horizontal display LED panels and the other 2 below to make a scrolling text display.
I hope I explain myself well.
Thank you again for your help
Why did you setup only 300 leds under led preferences , if you are using four 8x32 then total is 1024 pixels . And 850mA is also too low
There is no way you are going to power 4 of those through an esp’s usb port and also no way you will power them with those dupont breadboard jumpers. You will 100% fry those jumpers and likely the esp. You need another power source and will need power injected at the beg/end of each panel.
Did not notice the pic for MCU and that is not proper , keep only ground and data from esp32 and use external power source Getting Started - WLED Project
Thank you for your answers
I know very well for the food I will go through another one and the duponds also it is for the tests.
Finally I understood the operation it was necessary to select the segment startx on 0 and stopx on 64
By dint of seeking have found.
Now I will deepen a bit with MQTT and Home Assistant
it also seems with the Xlights software can do a lot of things. (I downloaded it)
Thank you again for your help
yes, small question:
I also have 4 p4 2121 panels can we make them work with? (from what I have seen I don’t think so.) could you confirm this for me…
THANKS
To use hub75 with wled:
- Pixelvation GitHub - Pixelvation/Pixelvation
- FPP on a pi ( or clone ) and colorlight card
- … others
To use without wled and DIY with only esp32 GitHub - mrfaptastic/ESP32-HUB75-MatrixPanel-DMA: An Adafruit GFX Compatible Library for the ESP32, ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3 to drive HUB75 LED matrix panels using DMA for high refresh rates. Supports panel chaining.
Maybe if you use tiny matrix like this 8x32
Look at that cute lil thing
