Hi all. I am really need your help. I have been searching and read thought all the posts regarding to matrix but I still couldn’t get it to work. I have 3 panels matrix 1 for a window on 2 ports and the other 2 is for my 2 front posts. There are 2 ports for window, each port is 800 pixels. 50x16 Horizontal orientation bottom right. For the front post each have 418 pixels and have it own port, 11x38 Horizontal orientation bottom left. I have playing with difference settings in 2d setup as well as segments but couldn’t make them to work. Any advice and instruction would be very appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
Can someone please kindly give me some guidance how to setup this please. Thx
You don’t mention what you’re using to run WLED, what board do you have, what levelshifter, what power supply(s)?
Do you have a simple wiring diagram so we can all see what you’re trying to hookup (a picture, even a simple one is often better than a description)?
I’m not an expert on matrix setups, but I’d suggest you start with getting a simple 1-D setup working (single string of 800+418+418=1636 LEDs).
I’d try and prove that you can display LEDs on each section independently and perhaps use a simply sweep pattern so you know you’ve got the wiring and numbering correct as far as WLED is concerned.
The next step would be to try and get a single section of the final matrix you want working.
That will help you try and understand the matrix terminology and setup.
Then graduate to adding a 2nd matrix, and finally the 3rd.
Thank you so much for your help. I am using wt32-eth01 with my custom pcb. Here is my led settings. I managed to made the window or the 2 front post works independently but not able to make them work together.
the color order is wear isent this Panels all GBR
and you are calling for matrix this is GPIO Nodes set
so use the 2D setup to form the 3 panel
use segment 0-2 to get the individuell matrix
