How to run two different size led Matrix using WLED on esp32. I have made one 15x50 and 10x25 (WxH) LED Matrix . How to controll two seperately? please tell me step by step suggestion.
So I just checked for confirmation and in the 2d settings in wled it states each panel can be a different size, orientation and starting led. This means you should be able to define your two matrices under 2d settings as separate panels. I would go ahead and run each on a separate gpio pin and check the box to create a new segment per output (under led settings). Make output 1 the pin and length of one panel and output 2 the pin and length of the other. This should all result in having 1 segment for one panel and a 2nd segment for the other. Then you can set separate effects or do whatever you’re planning to do while controlling each panel independently. If you try this (or need more detail) and have an issue post again and I’ll make a test setup and take some screenshots.
I have tried your suggestion , but in the segment section the smaller pannel is recognised as a 1D Strip Light how to convert that to a 2D Matrix?Thanks for your support and help sir.
Actually the thing is the smaller(1025) pannel is recognised as a part of the bigger (1550) pannel, but they are a completely seperate in physical. As a result the the (10*25) part of the bigger pannel is not lighting up cause it thinks that this part is replaced by the smaller pannel. I hope I was able to describe my problem. If you have any suggestions let me know .thank you
@Mangalmadhu19: Welcome!
Use the x or y offset to position panel 2 where, you’d like it to be.
