Segment ON/OFF with fading

Hello all,

Firstly thank you for this amazing WLED UI.
I started on it since 2 weeks, and I learn every day on it.

I have a project to put led strips under each steps of my stair, connect it to my ESP and sending commands via MQTT/HTTP/JSON.

Something like that Led Strip in stairs

For the moment I’m working on my table lol.
But I have a problem, I’m trying so switch ON/OFF segment by segment with the fadding effect (the same as the MASTER ON/OFF).
It’s ok for me to switch ON/OFF a segment but I don’t have the fadding effect.

I tried it with the HTTP API but it’s ever bad. When I put a black color it’s ok but only for the first segment, it don’t work en second.

Does someone have an idea? ^^

Segments don’t support fading yet.

The segmends don’t support fading yet, I’m working on on/off effects with which we could simulate that. If I get my head around the structure of the segments maybe I can add the fading too.

Hi @sim2000. Did you find a solution to fade-on / fade-off segments individually? I need to achieve the same thing, and I’m struggling.
