Good morning,

If I choose to synchronize my WLED X-Mass setups using Home Assistant, will the power on/off command be transmitted to each WLED client through HA’s MQTT, or does WLED communicate sync’s only through the UDP function? If it is the UDP option, should I check the “Enable Sync on start:” field under “Send” in the Sync Setting tab? Should I disable the MQTT function under the Sync Settings tab?

MQTT based automation would have to be added to HA by you to start with in-order for it to work .So no you do not need to disable the MQTT Sync Settings if you did not make any MQTT based automation which most likely you did not since you are asking
