Way to run webserver without a hardware to debug the webserver?

Hello from Firefox team,

We got a user report about the WLED webserver and Firefox behavior in 1934676 - WLED: input in iframe not focusing after going back to history, and to debug we need a way to set up the server, but we don’t have the right hardware.

I assume there’s a way to set up the server for development purpose, can I get some guide for that?

the WLED UI interacts with the hardware, there is currently no way to emulate that AFAIK
