Webserver stops responding after sometime

Hi !
I have hooked ws2811 led strip with an esp12F and an IR receiver. It works fine when connected to the wifi network.
But I want to use this setup outside the house where WIFI signal is just not present. When I place the strip over there, the only option I am left with is to use WLED-AP for connecting phone. As soon as the power is turned ON, after connecting phone to WLED-AP, the webserver responds well.
But after sometime, the WLED-AP is still present and phone connects to it but phone/ laptop is not able to connect to the webserver at 4.3.2.1(both in browser and the android app), though IR remote still works fine. To make webserver work, I have to turn off power and turn back ON again and 4.3.2.1 responds again. After sometime, same behaviour.
The thing I want to ask is, is it normal for webserver to stop responding in AP mode after sometime. Or am I getting some unusual behaviour???

Above all let me say just this. WLED is just AWESOME !!!

I had similar issues.
I’m running an aliexpess ESP8266 - I have 0.10.0 installed.
After 40 minutes I wasn’t able to connect to the board anymore, I needed to reboot.
Under WIFI SETUP, I disabled the WiFi Sleep.
I think the web server disappeared once more after that too.
I rebooted, and disabled anything else I could find that I wasn’t using (alexa and other Hue things) and now its been “up” for 19 hours.

Hi
I have disabled them all but still get this issue. The way to reproduce the issue is to connect to the wifi AP and disconnect a couple of times and the AP disappears. Could you try that? This is happening when I connect an android phone to the WLED AP. However if I coneect and disconnect my laptop, then this issue does not reproduce.
So please try connecting and disconnecting with an android

Sorry, iOS household here.

maybe try with with that. With android I meant just a phone

Sure thing, let me go out and find an android phone so i can test this out for you dear internet stranger.
