WLED lamp running on D1-mini Turns on and goes white full bright randomly

Last night most of my WLED lights started turning on and going white full brightness on thier own.

I was in bed watching TV when my nightstand light turned on. I picked up my phone and turned it off. About 5 min later the one on my wifes side of the bed did the same thing, I turned it off with my phone. 5 min later they both came on at the same time, again I turned them off. That repeated a few times till I decided to leave them on at set to min brightness so I could go to bed. 5 min later they came on full brightness again, I unpluged them and went to bed.

This morning when I went into my shop all my WLED lights but 1 where on white full bright. The light that did not change is run on an ESP32 the ones that had the problem all run on ESP8266 D1-mini’s. All lights run WLED version 0.15.0.

The 2 lights in the bedroom are set to go white full bright on Boot/Reboot but the rest are not.

I am at a loss on why this would happen. Some lights are over a year old and some I built just a month ago from new stock boards. (not from the same batch)

Any ideas on why this happened?

Maybe I should add that while the lights are in that state (white full bright) the color selection frame does not load. After a reboot color selection is possible.

Sounds like the Esp’s are randomly rebooting or 1 of them is rebooting and maybe by some chance you have accidently ticked the sync box and the one that is rebooting is syncing all of them to it’s default preset? Check the info page of all of them and check their Up Time to see if they are in fact rebooting.
