WLED with USC1903

Hi, I have a string of led Lights under the USC1903 chipset. is it possible to control these addressable lights using the WLED platform?

Post a link or pics to the type of strip you’ve got.

There have been a number of folks in the past quoting UCS1903 as the LED “type” when the reality was a little different.
WLED does have a number of protocols that should match, the base library: Neopixelbus covers the vast majority of addressable led types out there.

Hi, Thank you for your reply. This is the stuff I have bought. It is branded as usc1903 but looks identical to other stuff I found branded to have WS2811 ic

This is the spec sheet for the LED string

From what I can see, I’d guess WS281x would work.
If you haven’t bought them yet (or even if you have), might be worth an email to the supplier to ask.

If you’ve got them, it’s definitely worth an ESP32 basic board and a levelshifter to try.

will contact supplier see what they’ve got to say, but i’m hopeful that I would work.
thanks for your reply. appreciate it :+1: :v:
