I am trying to build some small wled controlled spot lights. I have the body of the spot but the chip was white only so looking to replace the chip. The lights are cheap aliexpress aluminium spots can link if people want to see. I tried a single 5050 RGBW chip and it was ok but just not bright enough for my needs. Then I tried to get the chip off of one of those 4w RGBW NeoPixles. The plan was to run the chip back to the controller with a short length of wire but they are bonded to the PCB so well I cant remove without breaking them. Ive now ordered off aliexpress their equivalent to the high power NeoPixels in both RGB and RGBW and going to see if I can get that chip off the PCB without damage. My other option is to buy some RGBW chips and finding a addressable interface to control them. I already have the DIYMORE LED strip Driver. Ive used that in other projects and works great but is only RGB.
Ive just come across this and wondered if WLED to control it because its RGBW…

Any help appreciated or if someone has a different idea how to make some small spots for lighting up a statue.
