Getting ready for the season and have discovered that when I power up the WLED, that all 122 leds are blue. That setup has run for the last two year with nothing more than powering up. Tried different power source as well a different esp32. The device is a three year old DigUno. I have run the latest update and rebuilt the presets but nothing I do will make the lights turn to the correct colors. This is just simple setup to run the radio freq sign for my xlights show. I have tried two different esp32s . And I have done a clean install more than once, But no matter that, even though the UI shows no segments set up, the original segments are still exhibiting on the sign. However, I have no control over the color. It is full blue. Moving around in the color wheel makes no difference. The WLED is v0.15.0-b7. and the esp32 is a mini v1.0.0 and the data GPIO is 2.
fixed as I stumbled on another post that said I needed to use gpio16 instead of 2.
Just letting you know that GPIO 2 should work as long as you have the lights connected to GPIO 2 on the controller and set to 2 in LED Preferences.
Hello, just letting you know that GPIO 16 solved my problem. I do not know what caused this change in GPIO but I stumbled across a comment in another post and as a last resort I tried it and was shocked to see everything work as I thought it should have. It may have been a firmware version change or something like that. It’s hard to keep up with all that stuff unless you devote yourself to it full time.
