Briefly see last preset

Hello,
I have an issue where I am using a button to switch between presets and I briefly see the last preset flash before the new one takes effect. Specifically going from the LEDS being on to all LEDs being off. Is their a preferred way to have an “off” preset that eliminates this brief flash?

I think its sending down the effect solid, then the state of off, which I’m just setting the brightness to 0. I thought maybe the transition was causing this but I still see it.

I usually just create a preset with {“on”:false}.
You might try to create a playlist that simulates what your button sequences are supposed to do, so you can alter the speed of transitions and length of on time.
