I need some help or ideas debugging an issue.
I have a WORKING setup with an ESP32 from Amazon
and a light strip BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B
I have connected the VIN, GND pins to the respective power … and I can see the light in the chip light up and can also log into the chip via the browser WLED page.
The GPIO that I am using is the 16 … and it is connected to the RX2 pin
Now … I have a new light from the same company BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B RGB 5050SMD
using the same chip.
and using a 5V 60A 300W Power Supply 110V power supply
The setup is the following:
I’ve drawn a schematic on how it’s connected.
I would like to know how to debug where the problem is.
Is it a faulty cable?
Are the lights not working?
Is there enough power?
I do have a multimeter.
Can anyone guide me on things to test?
