Getting Wemos LED matrix shield to work?

Has anyone managed to get the Wemos LED 8x8 marix to work with WLED?

I’m new to this and have searched online but can’t see any implementations of it, I thought it would be pretty straightforward but it seems not!

I have d1 minis and ESP32 but just not sure how to connect them to the shield to get it to work with wled.

I think those are only R not RGB. You’d be more likely to get it to work by hacking the 4 line display code. The regular WS2812 8x8 matrix is only $4 on Ali.

Thanks for the reply, I’m pretty sure it is RGB as Lolin lists it as so on Aliexpress https://m.aliexpress.com/item/1005004931420566.html

I have some of the normal ws2812b 8x8 matrices but I like how tiny this one is so hoped to get it working with wled ideally.

The AliExpress one should work. But I’d be shocked if the one from Wemos was anything but Red LEDs.

I have a lot of the ones you linked which is 8x8 but now we have a better 1010 led packages , size is 60x60mm and it is 16x16

It is custom made , if you can order 10 panels or more then I could give you more details , come around $18 per panel with shipping

This works fine with wled 14.0
