LAN8720 Connection to ESP32 Node MCU

So, I have gotten a LAN8720 board connected to the ESP32 and it powers up and appears to be communicating but, I am unable to find an IP address for this board. Is there anything that need be changed in the build or should it just work. I can compile if needed but I am still new to doing this and I am unable to locate the ethernet setting to modify the PHY if needed. Any help or direction would be very much appreciated!? @Aircoookie
