Matrices on multiple IO pins?

Hi. I’m using 0.15.0-b4. I have 6 LED matrix panels and wanted to split them between two pins at 768 a piece, but as soon as I save the second group, I get errors in the UI and when I look at settings again, the first group has been rendered useless.

Am I missing something? Looking at this I would at least assume that multiple pins should be possible…

Try either b3 or b5 from Dropbox

b4 has a bug with >300 leds

Thank you @kilrah, but I have a bit of an issue installing anything that is coming from an unofficial site, posted/recommended by someone that is not the product owner. I do appreciate it, but I’ll wait for the official beta release.

You could always find the one you want from Serg’s Repository - pretty well the standard link for all the current versions (if you’re not willing to build your own).

Thank you! I can’t find the binaries to download from that link.

I’d love to, but I am not having luck setting up the environment…

B3 has the same issue.

That’s my Dropbox and you cannot get more official files than that.

But you are educated well to not trust random links. Well done.

Thank you @blazoncek.

I installed b4 on a fresh esp32 and verified the problem exists. After that I upgraded to b5 from the drop box. After the second pin is added and the config saved, the led preferences indeed remain.

I really would like to thank everyone that has given input.

15.0-B5 did solve the issue. I tried some others, and 15.0-B2 and 14.4 also work with my configuration.
