Not all LED Protocols Showing Up in xLights

Hello, first time using WLED and xLights, trying to do a small Christmas display.

I have WLED running on an ESP32 controlling some SM16825 LED’s, which it supports and works (mostly at least, still a little flaking controlling the Govee Permanent Outdoor Pro’s). My issue that once I am in xLights and go to setup my model, the available protocols change to show only 12 options, none of which are the one needed, and the one the WLED is currently set to (SM16825). I would assume once you select the controller in xLights, it would then show all available protocols that controller can use. I am using DDP as the commination between xLights and WLED.

Any thoughts on if this is an issue with WLED not telling xLights all the available protocols? Or maybe something with xLights?

If I dont select a controller, I see dozens of protocol options in xLights, and the SM16825 is there.

WLED does not tell xlights anything. Anything listed in xlights is xlights programming. You would need to address that with the xlights folks.
