Run WLED and PixelIt side by side on one ESP8266

Hy everyone
I’ve build an LED-Matrix (64x8) connect to my smarthome (ioBroker).
I’d like to display the gorgeous WLED-Effects but also some bitmaps and text.
Is there a possibility to run PixelIt an Wled side by side on one ESP8266?
I’m an absolute beginner in programming.

We are using almost all of the memory on the 8266.

OK, i didn’t realize that. If i use intstead of a 8266 an ESP32? The ESP32 has much more memory than an 8266, right?

I believe it’s more of an issue of having additional hardware on the 32 tat requires less software.
