WLED is working just fine on quality ESP8266.
Unfortunately SW cannot always accommodate poor or inadequate HW.

my channel setting is 6 and 11 and the esp8266 is still dropping wifi on 0.14.x
But stays stable on 0.13.x so not understanding the hardware reference here.
Those esp’s have had WLED upgrades for years and suddenly with 0.14.x they are faulty??
Eventually this got fixed, after a long long time. I no longer update my ESP’s to new versions right after they get announced. No matter if ESP8266 or ESP32. I gotta hear the communitys response for my specific ESP that i use before i dare to update. I’d want to get my confidence back though.
Lend help by beta testing. There just aren’t enough beta testers.
