Hello,

i start my first steps in wled.

I want to play a playlist on start of the sunset and have the stripe turned off after 2 hours.

I wondering about that i see only a field for minutes and here i can enter only max 59 mintues.

So how i can turned the strips on for 2 hours after sunset.

Also i want to turend the stripe off after the 2 hours.

My playlist is this, it want be off anymore.

the scheduler is just a trigger, not state machine. to turn them off after 2 hours you use the “Timer” function (moon symbol in UI, configurable in settings). I am sure you can activate that through a preset (check JSON API) and add that preset as the first one in a playlist. Presets can be just any supported JSON command.

oh i understand. What function will have the entry in the minutes field?

How i can create a preset to “start on sunrise” or “switch off after 2 hours”?

If i click on the moon, i get only this message

Timer, AKA “nightlight” has a configuration (duration, type, etc) in LED settings.
It is also documented in KB.

If you are also running Home Assistant you could use an automation from within HA to turn on/off lights and presets.

for me it will help to understand, how i can turned the stripes out.

I cannot find a preset or something else. What i have to do to turn the stripes at the end of a playlist out?

Also how can i create a timer, as is wrote i cannot see a settingpage for the timer (moon) function - how it works?

@blazoncek what is “AKA” and how i can find the “nightlight” preset?
