Trouble Installing

I flashed WLED to an ESP32 a few weeks back on my MacBook Air with no issues. I purchased 20 more for a project I am working on. Every ESP32 I have tried gives me this error:

“Failed to initialize. Try resetting your device or holding the BOOT button while clicking INSTALL.”

Then

“Serial port is not ready. Close any other application using it and try again.”

I switched to my friends computer and everything works just fine. I am holding the boot button. It is something specifically on my computer that I guess has changed.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as I need to be able to work off my computer.

Are the devices exactly the same as your previously working? Have you installed any OS updates? Have you double checked you have the right usb2serial drivers for the adapter chip on your board?

The OS was updated and didn’t play nice with the installed drivers. I wiped the drivers and everything worked fine again.
