Universal LED strip controller

Hi there,
One of my friends has classical RGB LED strip installed in his room.
I showed him some videos with WLED and he was curious about it.
He came with idea, that he would like to buy few meters of some Neopixel LED strip,
after he will save enough money.
His plan is to buy some WLED controller, connect it to RGB LED strips, then buy Neopixel LED strip and just switch LED strips - (rip out old LED strips and install new Neopixel ones).

Is there any WLED controller, which could control classic RGB strip (with PWM) and Neopixel LED strips (WS2812B, WS2815, SK6812,…)?

I hope, that I formulated it correctly.
I will be grateful for any help.

WLED is for all RGB and Nepopixel
you can run them also together
its just on PIN Configuration
USE a ESP32 so you got multiple PIN Choices
If you talk about READY to play Controllers as of RGB and Neopixel you shoudt consider a 2 Strip RGB Controller that workes on 6 PIN Channels even some got a 8 Channel PWM
then WLED Config soes the Job of dividing them !
