im working on a project but im having issues getting an ir remote to control my device.
im using an domestic automation vegas light ws281* controller (https://amzn.to/3VbCmDd), im trying to connect a ir receiver to have a 44key rbg remote contoller(44 Key RGB LED Strip Light Remote Controller Wireless Dimmer IR Remote Control, for SMD 5050 3528 2835 RGB LED Light Strip - 2 Pack : Amazon.ca: Tools & Home Improvement) the ws281 controller.
currently no lucky getting the controller to response. the ir does response to the remote but the contoller doesnt change.
So basically you’ve got a remote control for an RGB analog strip and you want to hack it to work with WLED? It might be easier to buy something made for this purpose but probably possible to make work. How did you connect it to the ESP?
