Hi all, I don’t want to start by being mean but what is the point of having a section of issues at discord channel when no one answers.
I have 4 esp32 Model :GL-C-008WL BY gledopto. My knowledge is very limited. The wled app is installed on a mac.
I have my set up for more than a year now without any issues. A couple of days ago one of the esp32s was not working. I realised that the cables were off. I connected them back but it was not working, no light on the esp32 and no lights on the leds. In the app the other 3 were working fine. The one that was not working was not reachable. The wled app network was not there as an option. I had 2 new spare esp32, same brand, same model. I replaced it with a new one, and the green light on it came on and few led lights. The wled-app network appeared again. First thing was to connect to wifi. Entered the password and although it was successfully connected it would not appear in the app. I changed networks from wled-app to my network and still nothing. Up to now I was using a very old version of wled. After a quick research I downloaded version 16.0.0. Although there is a newer version, I think this is the latest for mac. I upgraded the other 3 ones without any isuue. I replaced again the esp32 with a new one and once the Wled-app network appeared again, I connected the wifi but without leaving the wled-app network I tried to update it . Update successfull but once I switched networks the wledapp- network disappeared and the esp32 never showed in the app. There is an OPT button on each esp and with a 10 second long press should reset. Did that both with and without power on, no change. I unistalled and installed the app, same issue. I restarted my router. I spent many hours the last few days trying to see what I am doing wrong. Please help.
