WLED as IR Blaster

I purchased some RGB weatherproof floodlights but they are not wifi controlled, only IR. Oops.

Is there a way to set the LED count to 1 and connect an IR emitter to the controller so that I can use it to relay the power on/off and select the colour?

I’d put a small enclosure with the NodeMCU near the front of the floodlight to allow it to be controlled.

Or is this a tear them apart and hack directly to the driver type of project?

You may have a look at Tasmota and the IRsend command.
