WLED dosent see WIFI , esp8266

Hello, my name is Jonatan.

I am having a connectivity issue with my Wi-Fi network using WLED and ESP8266.

I currently have one ESP8266 (a) set up from https://install.wled.me/ version 0.14.3. functioning correctly with my wifi

I am trying to install a new ESP8266 (b). It flashes, but it cannot find my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (which (a) can see and works). It doesn’t connect or assign an IP address to my ESP, whether through scanning or manual entry from PC o from mobile with de ap.

It creates the WLED-AP network; I can access it and change the LED strip color, and the flashing works.

However, I can’t get it to see or connect to my Wi-Fi network, which is functioning on another ESP (a).

Both esp are powered from diferent power sources of 5v

hi @Jonavend Welcome
there are many Boards with this ESP8266 out in the WWW
some of them specialy the cheeper ones that declare they are simular to D! mini arend connecting as good as the REAL wemos d1
i personly made last week this expiriance

TRY to go around 2,5mters within the Range of the Homenetwork AP
and connect to the ESP with y<our smartphone
if it than scans ands see your Homenetwork you are also with this probelm
SECOND the European specialised ones use different channels then the US versions

so dont use chanels below3 and over 9 to get them connected

hi @Magig_Wled , Thank you for your quick response above all. The board is a NodeMCU V3. I tried moving away from the Wi-Fi router with the ESP because all the networks it detects are at -65dB, while with a network analyzer, my network is at -35dB. But it’s the same situation; the network doesn’t appear.

And just to clarify, when you refer to channels, what are we talking about?
it is where says acces point wifi channel ? or where

I would try rebooting your router, and maybe reflashing the Esp.

Take note that disable wifi sleep is unchecked in your pics , if you do this then you will face connectivity issue ,make sure to check that box .
