Hi all. Hope someone can help me. For some reason over the last few months, my WLED’s have just decided to go mia in the app and home assistant. But if I go to the ip address of the controller (quinled dig uno/quad) in any browser, they are there online.
I have made sure the tick box is ticked for making the instance discoverable and still no joy. But WLED instances show up under nodes menu.
Only had the WLED running for about 4 months in total so still quite new to this.
My network is a Unifi network with 3 AP’s connected; 2 WiFi 6 AP’s and 1 WiFi 7 ap.
The WiFi 7 AP is purely for 5ghz and 6ghz devices with its own ssid MAIN and the other 2 are for 2.4ghz devices on their own WiFi ssid IoT.
Running latest UniFi network os 9.3.43 as of today’s date but just can’t work out what is causing my devices not to be discoverable. if I ad them manually, they work but just not discoverable.
Also, if I had my phone connected to MAIN ssid, it is hit or miss if my devices connect but when on the IoT WiFi, I can connect just fine but again, still not discoverable is I remove a device and try and ad it back in.
Both ssid’s point to the same network rage and at this point, no vlan’ing is present.
Troubleshooting carried out:-
- tested with version 15 and 16 including nightly builds
- I have a total of 9 controllers
- I have turned of AP meshing
- tried different channels of 2.4ghz WiFi
- Tried 20 or 40 band for WiFi
- No advanced features enabled, all stock
- Network optimisation disabled
- Blocked out WiFi channels 10 and above as these are known to cause issues from what I have read.
- disabled polling in Home Assistant.
- removed WLED from home assistant as still nothing shows up in WLED app.
- turned of my home assistant vm and still nothing showing up on WLED app
- WiFi sleep disabled in WLED settings
- mDNS option disabled and still no change
- Ethernet details left blank 0.0.0.0
- tried different IP’s; DHCP and static and still no change.
- Audio reactive disabled/enabled still no change
If anyone can help me out, I would be ever so grateful as I am kinda running out of options now.
