Are these strips and controllers usable for my scenario?

Hi. I’ve only used WS2812b strips so far, but want to retrofit a couple of lamps with RGB + white(s).

I found this LED strip on Amazon

and I found this controller on AliExpress

This is my goal:

  • Switch on the wall switch and have white (boot preset)
  • Use an IR remote control for some presets, color change and brightness
  • Use the app for “full” control
    That’s pretty basic, so I don’t think there’ll be an issue there, but I only have about 10 x 8 x 3 cm room for the power supply, controller, and circuitry for the one lamp and 17 x 6 x 2.5 cm for the other. I’ll need about 100 cm of LED strip. Based on the description, that means a 2A power supply… Am I cutting it too close?
