Can't Get LED Strip to Switch On

So after all of that it turns out the LED strip i had must had been faulty. Ordered the exact same strip again from Amazon and this worked without any power injection or level shifter.

Not a problem now i have all the other compoenents, i plan on doing a proper job with it all.

Glad you figured it out.

You could try to send to the bad strip, just try 1 or 2 pixels after the start.
You need to disconnect the previous pixel to the one you try.

Worth a shot to see if the whole strip is bad or just a few at the start.

Anyways, you’re closer to an old-hand at this stuff now :wink:
