LEDs will not stay on

I have installed several WS2811 strips controlled by a QuinLED-Dig-Quad. They will not stay on.

The timer is “Deactivated” and I have removed all time settings. I have updated, then replaced the controller as well as the power supply, with no change. I was controlling them with the power relay, then took that out of the configuration, still will not stay on.

This is happening whether I start them from my PC or the APP and whether I use a Preset or select the pattern directly. I have tried controlling the module via WiFi or hardwired to my LAN.

There does not appear to be any consistency to the time on.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I cannot say for certain, but this happened to me once. On the affected controller I removed all of the presets, and re did them - still experienced a random shutdown. I then backed up the configuration, and reset the controller to the default settings. No more resets, but when I uploaded the configuration file, the problem returned. In my case there must have been a corrupted setting, but I never found it. I just started from scratch.

Thank you! I appreciate the response.

That would be my guess, as I have done the same with the presets, with the same results as you. I think I have reset the controller to defaults, but would like to know your procedure for doing so.

BTW, I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas!

Under Config → Security & Updates, look for this

And, a very merry Christmas to you as well.

Thank you very much!

I should take more time to explore the device/application.
