Line level/digital audio in for WLED SR

Newb with a newb question. I am just entering into this rabbit hole but I do have a somewhat pressing ask. I have a rather larger and elaborate home automation system I have built in my home. What I would like to find/make/have made is away to get either line level zone audio (can be analog or digital PCM) into the WLED universe. I am trying to avoid using a microphone as it is susceptible to external noises (clapping, talking and whatnot). I just want the system to “hear” only the music in that particular zone of my home. I have checked the boards and some guys asked similar questions a couple of years ago but I did not see a resolution. I am even willing to pay someone to build it for me. I want to learn but I am very very new to the physical hardware side versus the programming side. If it’s not possible/feasable, I can just use one of the boards with a mic, but I would consider that a surrender.

Any help here?

what is wrong with the default ones?

@Supertayt what led setup do you got controller and nodes
there are ready made like MoonMods that capter this events from adapters all over nad set reset or make events out of it

Good morning. My setup is really simple right now but is going to get bigger. I have a 2oo foot section of govee outdoor permanent pro. 2 16.4 sections of Govee strip 2, Then some random Hue devices I am going to try and incorporate. If I can’t incorporate them, they’ll be replaced. I just bought one of the domestic automation piano controllers and one of the MagWLED-1 LED Controllers. Like I said, I am super new to this and didn’t even realize WLED and this community was a thing until after I already bought all the govee stuff. Now, I’m all in. I just don’t know which way to go here. I had looked at the ESP32-LyraT but it doesn’t have ethernet. I looked at a normal ESP32 with POE ethernet, but it doesn’t have audio in. I am one of those old school guys that if it’s possible to wire something, you should do that versus wireless. Plus, this is going to sit in my automation rack with all my audio and network switching gear.
Is it possible to buy the LyraT and build a setup that adds network or POE network?
Is it possible to buy a standard EST32 and add line level audio in?
Reading all the warnings on audio boards, I know they can be fussy so my inclination is to buy the ESP32-LyraT and either live with wireless or try and add ethernet to it somehow.

I appreciate you responding though. Thank you.
