Phillips HUE IC compatible protocol?

Hello! I recently got this Philips HUE Strip for a very very good deal.

However I’d like to try WLED on this strip. The IC doesnt quite match with any that is officially supported.
However here are some aspects about the strip that might lead us to a type of strip that could work with this one, hopefully:

  • It is a 24v strip
  • The IC is labeled as 055E DBGXVA
  • It has 6 LED grouped per pixel
  • It uses 4 wires, but the controller seems to only use 3 (see pic below)
  • It has CCT (Warm and cold white)
  • Some pins are labeled as VBUS_4 or DO 4_b

The pictures were taken of the end of the strip.
Also have in mind that the first two and last two pins of the strip are tied all together as well as the fact that the second pin of the plastic connector doesn’t seem to be connected anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

Hue is proprietary, there may be hacks to what you want but I don’t think WLED will support this. If you have Hue strips, just use Hue controllers?

Strangely enough, the latest beta which includes SM16825 kind of works with this strip even though its proprietary.

However, when choose full blue white turns on on the strip and vice versa.

Everything works fine with the mentioned protocol, it’s a shame that the option to swap B & W doest correct that failure. It just ties the blue channel and white channel when I turn white on…

Any thoughts you might have?

Perhaps try a Swap W-B?
