I’m building an audio amplifier and I would like to highlight the volume knob so that a single LED indicates the set volume level.
I connected a ring of ws2812b diodes and a potentiometer to esp-wroom-32 and I am looking for a solution to my problem
Can this be done?

I want to do something like this
There is a usermod for an RGB-rotary encoder that will output to a circle of LEDs as you show.
The issue will be to find a rotary encoder combined with a potentiometer or create a means of linking the rotation of the volume control with the encoder (drive belt, gears,etc.)
