IKEA has a new lamp that looks like a good starting point…
This looks very nice , it will be perfect for leds . it is a little bit pricey 4 times the price of VICKLEBY
Agree that it is a bit expensive but looks much easier to mount LED strips and electronics (Have a look at the manual).
Should be a very good light diffuser as well so will make the LEDs less obvious
